Keeping you Safe - COVID-19

We look forward to welcoming you to Doonhame Festival in a few weeks time.

Your safety and the safety of our staff is our number one priority.

 

How many people will be at Doonhame Festival?

Doonhame Festival is a boutique, small festival. We guarantee the maximum festival audience will be 3,000. This will allow for ample space for social distancing in a clean open air environment.


We also have a limited number of camping tickets to allow for plenty of space between tents.

 

Will Face Coverings & Hand Sanitiser be provided? 

Face coverings will NOT be provided. There will be multiple hand sanitiser stations on site so you can regularly sanitise your hands.

Will I be tested for COVID-19 at the Festival?

No. If you are showing any symptoms of COVID-19 you must not attend the festival. We ask that all attendees complete a COVID-19 test at home before you come to the festival. If your home test shows positive for COVID-19 you must not attend the festival. Contact us on enquries@doonhamefestival.co.uk for options regarding your ticket.

 

Will the toilets be regularly cleaned?

There will be blocks of toilets on each side of the arena. These toilets will be cleaned regularly throughout the day.

 

How will you ensure Social Distancing is being practised? 

All staff will be following Government Guidelines on social distancing. Staff will also be provided with PPE and regular hand washing will be compulsory. We require all customers to adhere to social distancing in line with Government guidance at that time.

 

Will you use a Track & Trace system?

We will use your ticket data to ensure we follow all requirements for Track and Trace. We will keep your data for 21 days after the festival in case we need to pass your details to the NHS or any other public body for track and trace. Your details will not be provided to anyone else other than for purposes of Track and Trace.

 

Will the Festival go ahead?

We are working alongside the Safety Advisory Group in Dumfries & Galloway to ensure that everything is in place for the festival go ahead in a safe way. We will fully comply with all COVID-19 safety requirements that are in place at that time to ensure that we can go ahead in line with Government requirements.

 

What if the festival can’t go ahead?

We provide 100% guarantee that your ticket will be carried over to 2023. All our line up have confirmed they will move to 2023 if the festival cannot go ahead in 2022.
